Here to Support and Listen
My goal as a therapist is to support you. I strive to create a safe space to process your feelings. By talking to someone neutral like myself, you have the ability to feel safe to open up and work towards your goals at a pace that works for you.
It is my job to assist you in finding answers for yourself through our conversations. Client goals may include talking about your past, working through current conflicts in your daily life or making plans for your future.
Therapy looks different for each individual. I can adapt sessions to fit your needs and interests. We may go into a session with a topic or goal in mind then change depending on your current needs. Some clients prefer to come in and simply talk while others want to utilize worksheets in session and at home. Additionally, I can provide recommendations for resources such as books and podcasts.
My trainings consist of Cognitive Behavior Therapy Plus Childhood Trauma which is utilized with children with a history of trauma as well as trainings in Perinatal Mood Disorders through Postpartum Support International. Additionally, my spouse was previously in the military therefore I understand the emotional struggle of military life. I love working with women in life transitions such as college, relationships, marriage and parenting.
My hours are 9:30am to 2pm Monday to Wednesday for in person or virtual sessions. I accept BCBS through my practice.
